We will leave from Heart of Hawick and follow the Newcastleton Road out of Hawick, taking a right turn to pedal up the Flex hill, following the road past Wullie Struther loch before taking a sharp right turn at the junction which will bring us past the Mair gates. At the crossroads, we will take a left turn here and following this road it will take us down Haysike and onto the main A7 road. We will take a right turn here and head for a short time along the A7, taking a left turn over Martins Bridge, then a right turn which will take us back into Hawick. A hill up and a hill down so best of both worlds on this ride.
