Heading out from Eccleston to Euxton and turning towards Mawdsley . we will make our way over to Newburgh and Parbold where we ascend Stoney Lane.
After this we will cruise down to Appleby Moor for a well earned Cafe break, this isnt until the 27 mile point so drinks and snacks may be required to keep your energy levels upAn easy few downhill miles back to Eccleston completes the ride.

A road ride around country lanes and villages of Wrightington, Dalton and Orrell

Mostly B roads and country lanes some short stretches on A roads

We will take rest stops as needed and a refreshment break just after the half way distance.

As with all HRS rides a helmet will be required to participate in the ride. Please be equipped with items such as spare inner tubes and pumps for any emergency roadside repairs. Snacks and drinks may be required for energy throughout. There will be a refreshment break so if you require food please remember a method of payment.

This is a challenging road ride with a few hills. It is best suited to road bikes or very light hybrids with road tyres.
