As part of our annual Pedal & Paddle dun day, this mixed road ride will head off from the Anderton outdoor centre onto the quiet country lanes towards Brindle where it will complete and then steer west through the villages of Clayton, Coppull and back through Adlington.

Any major roads on the route will be quiet at this time of day, to enable you to take in the stunning views surrounding you. Were there are cycle lanes, we will try to utilise them as much as possible.

Please ensure you are self-sufficient and carry your own cycle spares ie innertubes etc and equip yourself with drinks and snacks. There isn't a cafe stop planned as food and drink can be purchased before and after the ride, although if time allows, we may stop for a quick natter.

As always on a HRS ride, no helmet, no ride. As this is part of the Pedal and Paddle fun day, priority will be given to those booked for the paddle session. If you wish to join this, there are a couple of places available for the paddleboarding/kayak. For further details, please email: [email protected]
