Leaf, Maxton, Woodside and home via Ancrum

We head out of Denholm and can meet anyone cycling from Hawick at Hassendean Station at approx 9.45 am. We cycle onward to Lilliesleaf and then take a right turn onto the Ancrum road, turning left for the Longnewton, crossing over the A68 we head to Maxton turning right twice for the road to Penielheugh taking the left at the fork in the road. A short cycle and we head into Woodside for refreshments, We head home via Ancrum.

Nice quiet back roads through with fab views.

Mostly B & C but we will cross over the A68 twice.

Woodside for coffee and cake

Helmets are required and please bring tools/repair kit in case of a puncture and lights. Please also ensure beforehand that your bike is mechanically sound and that you have appropriate clothing for the Scottish weather. Oh and lastly remember your pennies for coffee and cake
