This Hawick Belles Breeze Group ride is open for anyone to join

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

We take the road to Hassendean, where anyone cycling from Hawick can meet us at approximately 9.15 am. We head on through Lilliesleaf turning right onto the Ancrum road. At Bewlie we take the road on the left on to Longnewton. We cross over the A68 to Maxton. Two right turns and take in the views on the Waterloo Momument, as we take a left at the fork in the road, turning right it is a short cycle to Woodside. We then take the Ancrum road home to Denholm.

Woodside for refreshments

Helmets are required and please bring tools/repair kit in case of a puncture. Please also ensure beforehand that your bike is mechanically sound and that you have appropriate clothing for the Scottish weather. A drink and a snack. Pennies for coffee stop.
