About the group
This group is for women of Welwyn Hatfield who want to build confidence in riding, especially with small groups on local cycle routes.
We want to have fun, discover the area and seek out little cafes and watering holes in the area. We will cycle the many traffic free routes around Welwyn Hatfield especially Cole Green Way, Alban Way and the Ayot Greenway en route to explore the countryside beyond.
Generally we will ride between 8-10mph always regroup on hills and have plenty of water stops. Rides will usually be on weekday evenings, sometimes on Saturday mornings and last for a couple of hours. We ride when traffic flow is low so that we can enjoy our time together. Rides will be between 10-15 miles during the week and up to 20 miles at weekends.
