Breeze Meetup Ride to Stevenage Cycling Festival

We ride from the library through Digswell, Harmer Green, Burnham Green, Datchworth, Bragbury End, Aston End and along Six Hills Way to central Stevenage. We join with other Breeze riders to socialise and enjoy the festival. Enjoy something to eat and take a breather! We have the choice to cycle back to Welwyn Garden City or take the train back.

We will ride mostly on country lanes. Some sections will be busier with Saturday traffic, but we will stay close. There will be hills and where we separate, we will regroup at the top or at the bottom

Helmets are compulsory. High visibility weather appropriate clothing must be worn - be safe, be seen. Cycling mitts are recommended for bumpy sections of roads. Please ensure your water bottle is full and bring small snacks or energy gels / bars if needed. Spare inner tubes, levers, a pump and puncture repair kit are recommended if you have them. A cycle lock is also recommended for security when moving about the festival. In case of any incidents, please have the telephone number of a friend or relative that is available to assist in your return journey home.
