West End Barns

This is a steady ride, approximately 15 miles along quieter country roads. We will ride at the pace that is best suited to everyone in the group, usually between 7-10 mph. There will be a few inclines and as leaders we will support all riders to ensure that no one is left behind so that all the group can have an enjoyable ride. We will stop for a comfort break at West End Barns for coffee and cake. This is a circular route returning to our starting point at the end of the ride. Please remember to bring,
Two spare innertubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools (tyre levers and a spanner for your wheels if you do not have quick release.)
A water bottle with a drink in, riding can be very thirsty work.
Cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather
As we will be riding on the road please consider adding lights to your bike and wearing high vis clothing to assist other road users to see you.
Money for your coffee /cake

Now for the Covid bit…..
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms or have been in contact with other people that have Covid. Please bring a mask and hand sanitiser.
