Wednesday Breeze to the seaside

We'll ride from the Arts Centre to Roker and Seaburn and back. One direction will definitely be on the C2C cycle track and the other will be decided closer to the ride date, dependant on weather and cycle route conditions.
The route will be around 20 miles.
There is a cafe at the Arts Centre if anyone wishes to have a drink and or snack at the end of the ride

Join us for a saunter to the seaside. Starting at the Arts Centre in Fatfield we'll ride a loop to the seaside at Seaburn and back using the C2C in one direction. The exact route will be dependent on the weather and the state of some of our local cycle routes, trying to avoid the worst of any mud. We'll have a stop for refreshments and chatter at the seaside so please bring some money with you. We plan to cover around 20 miles. The Arts Centre has kindly allowed us parking subject to owners' risk.

We'll ride mainly on cycle routes with some road and track included.

Please come suitably dressed for the weather as it can be very changeable at this time of year. Layers are good along with waterproofs just in case. We advise that you wear gloves. Helmets are not compulsory but we advise that you wear one for safety reasons. Please ensure that your bike is in good working condition and that you have a spare inner tube which fits your wheel size.
