Wednesday Breeze : Hassendean Minto Standhill Lilliesleaf home by Horsleyhill

We will meet at the Bottle Bank Henderson Rd. After doing our bike check we will cycle towards Hassendean, taking a right towards Hassendean Station. Once we’re under the bridge we take the first left and head toward the village of Minto turning left at the T junction. We then continue on to Standhill and for those who want a wee bit longer cycle, can continue to Lillesleaf and come home by Horselyhill, while those who want a slightly shorter route can cut off at Netherraw.

This route is easy to split for however you feel on the night and there will be a leader with you for the miles you feel comfortable doing. Nobody gets left behind.

Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather and please ensure your bike is in good working order and the tyres have sufficient air in them. We have so many types of bikes nowadays, so please carry any spares you might need. Lights are also advisable.

If you are using an E-bike, please ensure there is sufficient battery and you have a back up plan to get back to Hawick, should you have a mechanical/electrical fault.
