Walkerburn and back via Peebles, Cademuir and Eddleston

Meeting at the cycle path entrance on Caberston Road in Walkerburn we follow the path through to Peebles where we ride towards the town centre and drop down the hill at the post office and over the foot bridge to Kingsmeadow Road. From there we head to Edderston and over the Manor Sware to Kirkton Manor where we follow the unclassified road to the walkers path to Lyne Station. We then take a very short ride along the A72 before turning right up through the Meldon Hills to Eddleston. From there we'll take the new cycle path back to Peebles and retrace our route to return to Walkerburn. There are three challenging climbs on the ride, the Manor Sware, the Glack to Haswellsykes and of course, the Meldon Hills. From Eddleston it's a lovely fairly flat ride back to Walkerburn.
