Taster Ride - Out to Harden Glen - Week 4

Starting from the Common Haugh Car Park, we will cycle through the park, onto the road which takes us to Martinsbridge where we went on week 2 of our taster rides. From here we will take a right turn and cycle on this road to the Harden Glen road end. We will have a break here before returning back using the same route. There are a couple of hills on this route which will give you a taste of a slightly harder route, but nothing you won’t be able to manage and we will be going at a nice easy pace. We never leave anyone behind so don’t worry.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order with your tyres pumped up ready to go. If you have a spare inner tube we advise that you bring one and any tools you might need for your bike. If you are on an electric bike please ensure you have a back up plan for someone to collect you in case anything goes wrong with the battery etc. Always wear a helmet and suitable clothing for the weather on the night and a water bottle in case you are thirsty on route.

This ride is suitable for those just starting out on a bike, or who are wanting to get back out on their bike after a break. It will be at a nice gentle pace with leaders there to advise and help you along as we go. We never leave anyone behind on our rides and we want you to enjoy the ride and have fun.
