Sunset Lanes

Meeting in the Henry wells shop car park we will ride out through some of the beautiful lanes in this area. We will ride a route of somewhere between 12-15 miles. This ride will encompass a mixture of mainly quieter roads but there may be the odd busier section as well of course as some hills.

We will aim to ride about 9-10 mph but will ride at the pace of the slowest rider and regroup and rest regularly as required.

There is no planned cake stop cake/tea stop planned for this route. There are also no toilet or water bottle facilities, however the Tesco express is open.

Please bring lights with you for this ride as it may still be dark/dusky when we finish.

Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms or have been in contact with people that have Covid. Please bring a mask and hand sanitiser.

Please remember to bring with you
- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
