This ride is perfect if you have done a bit of cycling before and now want to build up or maintain your fitness levels. It is fairly flat all the way round. We will be riding at a steady pace of 11 to 12 mph along a mixture of cycle paths and some fairly busy roads. Starting from All Saints Park on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre, we will ride out to Salford, passing through Rusholme and Sports City. We'll aim to cycle non-stop all the way round. If needed, we can have a short rest / toilet break at Broughton or Salford , before we continue out to Eccles, then head back into Manchester. As this is an evening ride, make sure your lights are working and dress to be seen.
