This route leaves Rivington and rolls out through Chorley ,the village of Brindle, Hoghton and Salmesbury. We then skirt around Blackburn and start some challenging climbs back through Pleasington and Tockholes. The last push will be back over Belmont and a lovely descent into Rivington village. A hilly but enjoyable route, worth it for the views. Best suited to road bikes.

A challenging road ride, through some beautiful Lancashire villages.

Mostly B roads and quiet lanes. Some stretches on busier A roads.

There will be regular rest stops throughout the ride in order to re fuel and recharge the legs.

Helmets are not compulsory by law but are required on HRS rides, please do not ride without one. There will be a planned Cafe stop at some point, so money needed for that if you wish.

New members very welcome
