Leaving Whalley we head to Gisburn, returning via Bolton by Bowland, Sawley, Waddington and Bashall Town. We will take a break at Holden Clough Nursery, approx after 18 miles. The route is mainly quiet country lanes. The total mileage is 29 miles, with 1700 feet of ascent, max gradient of 10.8%.
