Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebration Ride

Starting from Teviotdale Leisure Centre, Hawick we will travel down Mansfield Road and head out and past ‘Denholm Beach’ before heading into Denholm. We will join the main road through Denholm taking the left turn before heading out the village up Denholm Dean. This is a gradual hill which takes us up to join Bonchester Heights where we will take a left turn and head along this road, which may be a slightly busier road. Before heading down the hill to Bonchester we will take a right turn and head along this road briefly, before taking a left turn down to Midburn, where Linsey Renwick has kindly offered to have the celebration at her house. There will be some lovely wee surprises for everyone and we are hoping to stop here for a while before heading back along Earlside, down Cogsmill hill, (which will be a nice wee change), before making our way back into Hawick. We will be having a raffle for those taking part on the day and there is a lovely prize to be won so please bring some money with you on the day too. This is going to be a fantastic day and one not to be missed!
