Proud Watford Rainbow Ride - celebrating the LGBTQI+ community. Bright colours and smiles!

Starting at Watford Cycle Hub, and following the Green Route developed by Spokes, this is around 6m/10km ride, ending in Casisobury Park by the bandstand, where we will meet the Proud Watford team, and enjoy the music and entertainment, before attending Herts Pride for those who have tickets.

Leaders will be wearing ranibow flags and proudly and loudly supporting our LGBTQI+ community on the ride, and we encourage all riders to do the same.

This ride is one of a series of events as part of Proud Watford, where everyone is accepted and greeted with open arms no matter their identity, ability, or disability.

We are working hard to achieve is a community where self-expression is celebrated and everyone takes active and ongoing steps toward a wholly inclusive local society that recognises the importance of individuality.

All levels of riding ability are welcome, and bring your kids if they are confident riders. We will go at the pace of the slowest rider, the emphasis is on fun and enjoyment, and leaving a few smiles in our wake.
