Poppy post box toppers

Meeting in the Henry wells shop car park we will ride out through the top of the town to view some of the amazing post box toppers that have been made by the Hemel Yarn Bombers. This route is approx 8.5 miles and will be moslt on the road with a short traffic free section along the nickey line ( the surface is compacted and suitable for most bikes) We will be stopping frequently to look at the toppers and take photos, so please dress so you stay warm. The ride is suitable for any bike and will be at an easy going pace. There are a few undulations but it’s not a hilly route.


Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms.

Please remember to bring with you
- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
