Pop -up Green ride to the Homestead in Kimpton

We will start with a little bit of Nicky Line and then wriggle through West Common, through the lanes to Wheathampstead and then on slightly busier roads to Kimpton. The homeward stretch will be more direct, along the Kimpton Road and then down Common Lane to the Lower Luton Road and home.

This will be a 20 mile Green to the fabulous new cafe in Kimpton, braving the wintry weather and hoping to catch the last of the autumn colours. This would be a great ride for any old timers or confident newbie

This ride will be a mix of residential roads, quiet country lanes and some busier sections of B roads

We are planning to stop at the Homestead Cafe in Kimpton, more than halfway round our route.

You must wear a helmet on this ride, and please bring the wherewithal to fix a puncture, including a spare inner tube. It looks as though tit will be cold, so planty of warm layers, water and money for coffee if you wish.
