Starting from - We meet at Denny Beck Lane - the car park lies at the end of the lane where there is free parking but there are no toilet facilities.
Please arrive 15 minutes before start time to allow bike check and ride briefings.

Photographs will be taken on the ride - if you don’t want to be in the photos please let ride leaders know.

The route from Caton to Morecambe meanders along riverside paths and canal toward Bolton Le Sands. Almost traffic free apart from some short sections on busier roads.
We will travel along the seafront to Heysham where we will have a short break and hear some of the history of this fascinating site.

Picnic on the Beach Ride Leaders: Celia Rishton Val Bourne.

This is a flat route using a variety of terrains - canal tow paths, riverside cycle paths and some busier roads and the promenade at Morecambe to Heysham.

We will stop for lunch / snacks at Red Bank by the beach. The Archers cafe there is not a bookable venue so a picnic may be an advantage - take aways are available.

Helmets must be worn - no helmet no ride!
