Picking Daisies in Scorton

This is a mixed social ride leaving Preston and heading up to Scorton passing through Woodplumpton, Broughton, Inglewhite and Barnacre. After taking a break at Daisy Clough Nursery in Scorton we will return via Winmarleigh, Nateby, Gt Eccleston and Wharles. The roads are mostly minor country roads. There are no challenging hills! The ride is 42 miles long with 900 ft of climbing and an approx riding time of 200 minutes. Riders should be comfortable with the distance.
Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing one will not be able to join the ride. Please be self sufficient with spare inner tubes, levers, pump etc. The average speed will be 11/12mph. Any questions please message through this page on the lets ride site.
