Starting from Luciano’s at The Millstone, Bolton Road, Anderton. Please park in the far corner of the car park away from the building. There are no toilets at the start of the ride. Please arrive 10/15 minutes early for a bike check and route briefing.

• A ride over to the lovely village of Parbold using mixed terrain. • The route uses canal paths, bridleways, shared off road cycle paths, some roads and an old railway line.

• We will visit a cafe in Parbold for refreshments.

• Please wear a helmet. Be self-sufficient with items for a puncture repair and bring a drink, snacks and money for the market/refreshments. This is quite a long hybrid ride - 2 miles and 1300 ft elevation so make sure you have plenty of drink/snacks and be prepared to be out most of the day. Dress appropriately for the weather with layers and a waterproof.
