Join Jeanette and Amanda for a new route to Multiflight Yeadon, one long climb, a couple of busy road sections, this is predominantly a road ride, with a 3.2 mile section on the towpath, although it is suitable for road bikes now, skinny tyres will struggle with the autumn tree fall
Leaving the car park we turn right onto Hirst Lane and head up and over the railway bridge, turning left onto Dallam Avenue and follow through the village, left onto Victoria Road then right and cut through Salts Mill and onto Salts Mills Road, through the two roundabouts to the traffic lights onto Otley Road, turn right at the lights onto Dockfield Road and follow to the end where we pick up the towpath to Apperley Bridge, we come off at Millman Swing Bridge, turning left onto Apperley Road then left again onto Harrogate Road, we head up past the train station turning right onto Woodlands Drive and follow to the T junction, left onto Knott Lane and upto the A65, we do a quick left then right at the lights onto Layton Lane and up to Rawdon, right onto Layton Road and onto Horsforth, left onto Bayton Lane and head for Yeadon, at the lights we turn right onto Victoria Avenue then right into our cafe stop.
Leaving the cafe, we turn right onto the cycle path under the runway, dismounting to cross the dual carriageway, picking up Warren House Lane at the roundabout, at the T junction we turn right onto Cemetery Lane and follow to the next T junction, turning left onto Carlton Lane and down to Guiseley, we head straight over onto Moorlands Avenue and follow round West Villa Road, past the school, turning right onto Oxford Road and to the lights, turning right on A65 and follow to the Wetherby Whaler roundabout, turn left onto Bradford Road to the lights at the top of Hollins Hill, left then right onto Old Hollins Hill and follow down to Esholt and back to Bradford Road, we follow the road to the railway bridge, turning left through the snicket over the river and back to Dockfield Road where we pick up are out route back to Hirst Lock
