Starting point

London
W5 9SE

We haven’t visited Morden Hall Park for a long time, so we will hope for a fine spring day for this longer ride in South London.

Riding out of Ealing, we will take our familiar route up to Richmond Park, entering at the Sheen Gate and riding across the Park to the Robin Hood Gate. Leaving the Park, we take the Beverley Brook Path and quiet back roads to New Maldon. Turning east, we use the traffic-free BeeLine Path and more quiet back roads to get to Morden Hall Park, where we can enjoy refreshments in the café and a stroll around the gardens. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/london/morden-hall-park

Our return ride follows the mostly traffic-free Wandle Trail, returning to the river at Putney. We ride up through Barnes and cross the river at Hammersmith Bridge. We will return to Ealing via Ravenscourt Park and Acton. (If you want to shorten the ride, you could leave at Putney where there are rail services to Brentford/Chiswick or Clapham Junction.)
