Join us for the Mid Week Meet Up ride from Rivington Go Ape to Astley Park. Toilets and parking are available. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for a ride briefing and bike check.

We will head out of Rivington towards Limbrick on the road . We then pick up the Chorley loop line shared path as we pass by Buckshaw village towards our destination which is the Ambico cafe in Astley Park. After our cafe stop we ll continue on the loop line and then use the canal towpath to take us back via Adlington up to Rivington. Total miles 19. Elevation 900 ft.

Helmets are mandatory. Bring an inner tube, tyre levers and pump in case of a puncture and ensure your bike is in roadworthy condition. If you are not already a member of HRS you need to complete a new participant form and return it prior to the ride, this is available on our website . Horwichridesocial.org
