2nd ride on this series is back to our usual Thursday schedule with a slightly shorter route.
4th and 11th September /Thursday
Distance: 16 Miles
Elevation: 771 feet
Riding Time: 210 Mins
We head out of Luciano heading towards Grimford Lane, picking up the NCN route 55 (Liverpool and Leeds canal). From there we pass Wigan Golf Course and Ride along Redrock lane for our café stop at Thompson Equestrian in Standish. After the break, we make our way back via Adlington riding along a mix of quite country lanes, main roads, NCN 55 (canal) and back to our starting point. We have a few manageable inclines which will be tackled together as a group. Perfect opportunity for building confidence as group tackling inclines.

Please arrive 15 mins early for a quick bike check. We request that everyone wears a helmet for safety and anyone not wearing one will be unable to join us on this ride. Remember to bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump a little cash and bike lock for the café stop.
Photos will be taken during the ride to share on social media. If anyone wishing not to have their photo taken, please advise the ride leader before the ride.
You must be a member of Horwich Ride Social to join the ride and membership is free.
