Meeting at to car park next to the Heart of Hawick, we will do our bike check and set off turning right. Off we’ll cycle through the edge Hawick and on to a quiet country road that takes us along a scenic road that takes us to the top of the LKE.
Then about turn and head back to Hawick the way we came.
Wear a hat is a must, also have with you an inner tube, pump and the appropriate tool, wear clothes that suit the weather and bring along a drink to hydrate.
Make sure your bike is in good working order. If you have an electric bike make sure your battery is full and have a rescue plan if needed .
