‘Let’s Do It!’ For International Women’s Day Victoria Wood

18 miles and 750 feet elevation.

In recognition of International Women’s Day we will visit the Victoria Wood monument in Bury, where we will hear some of this woman’s fascinating life story.
A lovely scenic route from Leverhulme Park to Bury and on to Greenmount, where we will stop at The Hub Tea Rooms for refreshments. We will be using mainly cycle routes, Canal tow paths and trails and we will also be using the Kirklees Trail to Greenmount.

This ride is limited to member of Horwich Ride Social Mixed.

Please ensure you have the right clothing for the weather, spare inner tube and provisions if you will need them. As always, no Helmet, No ride! Don't forget your water!

This is a good ride for those wanting a few more miles and a little hill challenge! The icing on the cake is that's its all downhill from Greenmount! Come along and have some fun, we never leave anyone behind.
