Starting point

Hertfordshire
WD5 0GU

This is a steady ride route that follows local lanes and some off road cycle paths.
From the cycle hub the ride goes out of the Country Park to East Lane and down High Elms Lane to the A414 to cross at the underpass and continue on Bucknalls Lane towards Bricket Wood Common and then turns off on to the cyclepath to reach Otterspool Way.
The ride continues on the cyclepath alongside the A41 to reach the Meriden Community Centre and heads back to Garston Park and continues to the underpass to return to the cycle hub up High Elms Lane .

Please consider the weather and wear clothing to suit the conditions, and also a hi-vis top and gloves are recommended. Please bring lights for you bike and two spare inner tubes - as changing an inner tube is faster than repairing a puncture. The Ride Leaders can help if anyone in the group has a puncture on the day. Leavesden Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new, or recycled ones for 50p patched, £1 with no patches, should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped to the correct pressure.

We are Not-For-Profit, do free bike assessments and should your bike need a tune up or a full service, we'll give you an honest price.

We look forward to riding with you. :)
