Starting from - Starting from Charnley Arms Pub (Hungry Horse). WN60SS Turn into Arbour Lane then into the car park. Please park at the bottom of the car park furthest away from the pub. There are no toilets at the start.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the starting time for a quick bike check and ride briefing.
This ride is open to Horwich Ride Social Mixed.

As Promised we are cycling Crank up the Beacon in reverse. The elevation is the same but the climbs are less and therefore steeper. We will climb Ashurst Beacon and Shaley Brow. These hills can be taken at your own pace and hopefully the views will be worth it.

We will stop at Pimbo cafe half way around the route

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump. Don’t forget your pennies for the café stop. Please ensure you bring along a drink for the ride. Also check you brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before.
