A varied route which includes tracks, trails and quiet roads. We will be riding through woods, alongside scenic lakes, through golf courses and on cycling lanes. There are a couple of main roads to negotiate but we will do this as a group. The total elevation is 1600 feet and the pace will be between 8 and 10 miles per hour.

A Scenic route through Rivington, Borsdane Wood, Amberswood and Haigh.

Mainly quiet roads and tracks.

We will stop at Haigh Courtyard for our refreshments

This ride is for members of Horwich Ride Social. Please email horwichridesocial@gmail if you are not a member for a membership form. Helmets are compulsory and please check your bike at least the day before to ensure that brakes and gears are in good working order. Please equip yourself with spare inner tube and pump and a lock for the cafe stop.
