Join Aggie, Jeanette and Amanda for a ride out to the fabulous Gordon Rigg Garden Centre, to cut down on riding minutes and have more window shopping and cafe time we will head straight up the towpath to Bottoms and return on the road to Sowerby Bridge

We leave the train station and head down Station Road to the traffic lights, turn right onto West Street then turn left onto Hollins Mill Lane and pick up the towpath, when we reach Luddenfoot we come off the towpath and cross Station Road to Tillotsolme Holme and pick the towpath to Mytholmroyd, before we reach Fallingroyd Bridge we switch sides crossing Burnley Road at the island, we then carry on to Bottom coming off the towpath on Bottomley Road, turn right onto Rochdale Road and down to the garden centre for our lunch

The plan is to stop for an hour so we can check out gifts/plants and the Christmas department

Leaving the cafe we turn right onto A6033, down to Walsden, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Luddenfoot, we turn right onto Rose Grove, join the towpath for a short distance before picking the road up again, Hollins Mill Lane and down to Wharf Street, turn right and then left onto Station Road and back to the station

Please check your tyres are inflated to the correct air pressure, wear extra warm layers, working lights and a bright jacket, doesn't need to be a hi viz

There are some sections where we need to dismount and walk for safety

Road bikes with skinny tyres will struggle
