Ride leaders: Celia Rishton and Carol Crerar
Route elevation: 1700ft
The route is of varied terrain, some B roads and some busier A roads but mostly off road tracks and trails. We head off toward Belmont and crossing the dam at the reservoir we go cross country lanes to Turton. Travelling along country tracks with great views we arrive at our furthest point the Strawberry Duck where we will stop for lunch. The outward route is a gradual climb but we will have lots of stops to catch our breath and take in the views which are well worth the effort. The return journey takes us by the Jumbles Country Park.
Don’t say no till you’ve had a go!
