Ride leaders: Celia Rishton and Val Bourne. Come and join us for a lovely meander through quiet lanes and countryside over to Greenmount.

The route is almost all flat. We will be following quiet cycle lanes and trails that wind their way over pleasant farm tracks and countryside all the way to Greenmount.The route is varied using some quiet roads, cycle lanes and gravel tracks. We will use both the Bradley Fold and Daisy Field cycle tracks on the way out and the Kirklees Trail both ways, as well as some canal tow paths for the the return journey.

We plan to stop at the Hub Tea room in Greemount which is approx. half way around our ride.

As always on HRS rides helmets are mandatory- no helmet/no ride. Please ensure you are equipped with inner tubes, tyre levers and a pump in case of mechanical breakdown. Be sure to check your bike the night before, tyres/ brakes etc in good working order.
