Garden City Autumn Ride

We will cycle a circular routes out from Welwyn Garden in the morning and back by lunchtime. We will ride mostly on country lanes. Some sections will be busier with daytime traffic, but we will stay close. There will be hills and where we separate, we will regroup at the top or at the bottom.
Riding into autumn / winter means the rides will be weather dependent. If there is stormy weather / wind / ice rides may be cancelled so please keep an eye on messages.

We will stop at a cafe halfway for refreshments

Helmets are compulsory. High visibility weather appropriate clothing must be worn - be safe, be seen. Cycling mitts are recommended for bumpy sections of roads. Front and rear cycle lights are recommended. Please ensure your water bottle is full and bring small snacks or energy gels / bars if needed. Spare inner tubes, levers, a pump and puncture repair kit are recommended if you have them. In case of any incidents, please have the telephone number of a friend or relative that is available to assist in your return journey home.
