Starting from - Start point Bwlch Pen Barras, Mold CH7 5SH
Come along the A494 through Loggerheads and you will pass a garage on the right then as the A494 bends to the left the junction for Moel Famau is on the right which is well signposted.

This Guided Ride is a beginners mountain bike ride, brought to you by a qualified Fundamentals of Mountain Bike Leader.  To deliver rides as per the remit of the Fundamentals of MTB Award, we also hold a valid 2 day outdoor first aid certificate and Safeguarding Course.

The Ride starts from Moel Famau Lower Car Park which is on a lane called Bwlch Pen Barras

From there we weave our way up towards Moel Famau but never actually going to the top. From there we drop towards Cilcain then head back up towards the tower but not actually going to it.
We then retrace the trail to go on another loop heading away from Cilcain coming around Ffrith Mountain and back to the start.
This is all very quiet lanes or trails.

The start time is 1045 so please arrive by 1030 to be ready for 1045


There is a Toilet Block also.

This is for Mountain Bikes with some great views along the way

Mainly Trails and Quiet Country Lanes with one very short section of Main Road

Lunch will be on the hoof about half way around but will stop whenever needed. It's not a race

Serviceable Bike, Puncture Repair Kit, Helmets are a MUST Something to eat and drink
