The route heads out towards Henbury and Mottram St Andrew, dropping down into Alderely Edge before heading off to the flat lands of Cheshire. Expect fantastic views of the area, an abundance of prestige cars, if you’re lucky and able to recognise you might see the odd celebrity (I’ve never recognised any).
From the edge we drop onto Cheshire flat lands and enjoy the rolling plains across via Great Warford, Over Peover and Jodrell Bank, before heading back to our starting point for drinks.
At this time of year the Cheshire Lanes are particularly lovely with the spring flowers.
