This Sandiacre Social Saunters ride is open for anyone to join

Mainly tracks, trails and towpaths and a few minor roads to link them together.

We will ride the Erewash Valley Trail which is a mostly traffic free way marked walking and cycling trail. The ride is being ridden in conjunction with the Erewash Brough Council health ride that will set off from Straws Bridge Ilkeston and we will RV with them in the carpark on Bridge St Sandiacre.

The only roads we will be riding on are very quiet.

We will stop at several places along the way for short breaks and also a longer break for a picnic lunch.

All riders should bring a spare tube to fit their bike and equipment/tools to repair a puncture. Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather on the day.
