Eccleston Gold - road ride.

Starting from Luciano's at the Millstone we head out past Blackrod and through Standish. From here we go over the M6 to Andertons Mill and onto Eccleston for our café stop.
After the café stop we come back past Heskin Green , skirting Coppull before heading to back to our start point via Bolton Road,

Starting from Luciano's at the Millstone join Alison and Lesley on a road ride with a few inclines along the way , distance 25 miles and 1300 ft elevation. Average speed 10 mph. Please park at the far end of the car park away from the restaurant.

We will be cycling on both minor and major roads using cycle lanes or shared paths were they exist.

The café stop is Café Manna next to one of the two gold post-boxes for Bradley Wiggins.

Please arrive at the ride start by 09.20 hrs in time for the bike check. Helmets are mandatory on all HRS rides. Please bring a spare inner tube for your bike , tyre levers and a pump in case of a puncture. You will need some money for the café stop unless you choose to bring your own snack/drink.
