Earlside Loop

With it being Hawick Common Riding week, it's a busy time, however, if you'd still like a wee pedal, this is a community ride round Cogsmill. Meeting at the Heart of Hawick pedalling out to Stobs, Cogsmill, Earlside and onto Bonchester Heights.

Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear clothes suitable for the weather and have a drink and snacks in case you need them.

Please ensure you're bike is in good working order and the tyres are pumped up. Have any spares or tools you might need for your type of bike, and if riding an e-bike, please ensure the battery is charged and you have a rescue plan should you encounter a mechanical.

There are no leaders on this ride, so please look out for each other and be mindful of potholes, gravel and livestock.
