Earlside, Denholm and Horselyhill.

This is a community ride so please look out for one another

Meeting at the Heart of Hawick and after the bike check we will turn right, pedal through the edge of Hawick and onto country roads until we turn left and pedal over Earlside.
We meet the junction with the Bonchester road and turn left. Pedal along the road watching for the sign for Denholm where we turn rt. We pedal down hill , though Denholm, and head back to Appletreehall for another delicious Defender Blender coffee and cake stop.

Mostly back roads with little traffic

We will be stopping to re group and for photo opportunities

Please ensure your bike is in working order and your tyres are pumped up, you need to bring along spare inner tubes and tools for your bike. if you are using an e-bike, please ensure your battery is fully charged at the start of the ride and you have a back up plan to get yourself home if you have a mechanical ensure you have suitable clothing for the weather and always wear a helmet. gloves are advisable.
