This is a mostly flat circular route around Ealing, Greenford, Horsenden Hill, West Acton, Ealing Common and back to Ealing Broadway using predominantly cycle paths and the tow path along the Grand Union Canal. We will be using very few roads and those will be quiet back streets.
Cyclists joining this ride must be confident riding along the tow path, which at times can be narrow.
As part of our journey, we will enter the Ealing Wildlife Group Beaver enclosure. A family of five beavers were reintroduced into the wetlands of Paradise Field in 2023 and since then they have built dams and appear to be thriving.
