On return we will cycle through Shildon and South Church to Bishop Auckland and return on the Bishop-Brandon railway lines. (Very appropriate)
A ride to the new engine shed at Locomotion, Shildon
A combination of cycle path and quiet roads.
We will stop at the Locomotion museum in Shildon for lunch
Helmets are always advisable, as is clothing suitable for the weather forecast. We also recommend you bring along an inner tube that fits your wheel, a bike pump and tyre levers. Sweets are also much appreciated.
