Dixie’s of sprotbrough

A scenic route firstly going around bessacarr on red and white path routes and venturing into cantley park looping around towards armthorpe pit top fantastic views once we reach the top , then looping around to our cafe stop to the north of the city along a busy Wheatley hall road on cycle path over the north bridge to Bentley onto tpt to sprotbrough. After the cafe stop we continue along the TPT to lower don , Don gorge over to the viaduct at conisbrough onto the dearne valley trail , looping back to the start point at tenpin lakeside .

A mixture of rural countryside cycle city lanes parks and woodlands going through suburbs of Doncaster and fantastic route along the river Don if passable on the day , taking in scenic route over armthorpe pit . Stopping at a cycling friendly cafe Dixie’s in sprotbrough.

Mainly off road through parks cycle routes through bessacarr armthorpe, through woodland trails etc . A number of roads to connect this circular route together .

Stopping at sprotbrough Dixie’s cafe , other areas to take a break to have a drink take photos etc

Helmets are advisable on this ride , also bring along spares and tools to repair a puncture etc , money /card for the cafe stop.
