Meet at the Walled Gardens behind Wilton Park and pedal out to Martins Bridge and onwards to Roberton and Craik, returning the same route. When you get back to Hawick, you'll be ready for a cuppa and a bite to eat and the Pavillion Cafe will be the ideal spot.
Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear clothing for the weather and bring some water or anything you think you might need to keep your energy up. Please ensure your bike is in working order, your tyres are pumped up and you have spares or tools relevant to your bike. If you are using an e-bike, please ensure there is sufficient charge, and should you have a mechanical, you have a plan in place to get back to Hawick.
As the weather changes with the seasons, please be mindful of road conditions, and look out for Sheep and the two cattle grids you will encounter on this route.
