We go on a ride to Chiswick Park and Chiswick High Road to have lunch at the Food Street Market (see more here:
https://bit.ly/49f6v9Q). We also visit Duke Meadows Footbridge, the new pedestrian path under Barnes Bridge. This is a steady paced ride through mainly quiet roads and paths, but some confidence in traffic is needed for a few busier sections of the route.
We start our route through North Kensington and Shepherd’s Bush, reaching Hammersmith and going along the riverside until we are at Chiswick House and Grounds. Here we stop for a break, a look around the gardens and a coffee, but we shall save our appetites for a little later, when we make our way back through Barnes and its new bridge, Kew Bridge, finally stopping at Chiswick High Road for Food Street Market, where we can find food and drinks from all over the world.
After lunch, we continue back to Roundwood Park via Acton. We aim to be back by 2.30pm.
