Starting point

Buckinghamshire
SL1 7HN

Going through the park into the priory then down Huntercoombe over the A4 (lights) past the abbey over the M4 and onto the jubilee. We follow the jubilee downstream all the way to the railway which we go alongside before crossing under to reach Eton and the college Grounds. We cross over the thames for a short bit of road in Windsor (which if busy we can avoid by using a shared use path) passing Alexandra Gardens and the Sir Sidney Camm Memorial back under the railway and the A332, round the rather beautiful St. Andrew the apostle church to our refreshment stop. Returning via the shared use path alongside the A332 along the thames to Eton Wick then bridlepath back to the jubilee which we cross to Wood Ln over the M4 through Cippenham and up Elmshott and Burnham lane to our start point.

Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A nice gentle paced social ride designed as an introductory ride for first timers and returning cyclists

A nice mix of side roads, quiet country lanes and traffic free routes

Stopping halfway at the cycle friendly Swan at Clewer

A bottle of drink and a few pocket snacks/sweets if required. A puncture repair kit/spare tube would be good (but not essential) I or others will help

First-timers welcome!
