About the route

The route is 70% offroad and takes you on quiet lanes and woodland bridleways, through Aldenham Village and Letchmore Heath to Battlers Green Farm. Here we can enjoy a snack, hot drink or cake from the cafe, and browse the special Mothers Day Artisan Market. There are also toilets on site.
Mountain bikes, hybrids with offroad tyres, gravel / cyclocross bikes are best suited to this. Bridleways and off road tracks will have muddy and uneven surfaces so road / slick tyres are not suitable.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet as the route goes through some bumpy terrain. Don't forget a drink and a snack, a spare inner tube or two, and some cash or a card in case of emergency. Please bring a bike lock.
Please arrive by 10:50am so we can run through a riders register and bike checks before we set off.
Facilities are available in the Cycle Hub before and after the ride, should you need any additional refreshments or bike maintenance.
