Breeze Watford North Early Birds Bridleways around Munden

Pop up Early Birds Munden Meander! Let's enjoy the nice weather with a cooler start to a Friday morning.

Starting from Timberlake Car Park in North Watford (just off Radlett Road), we’ll head along the Abbey Way Cycle Route 6/61 and through the Meriden to School Lane, then through the trails around Munden Estate before looping back to the start.

A mixture of on-road and offroad, using tarmac cycleways and shared paths. It is suitable for Hybrid, MTB and gravel bikes. Bikes with slick tyres are not advised due to some uneven surfaces we will go through.

It's due to be warm and dry in the morning but please wear long arm and leg wear, and gloves are recommended as we will be going through some woodland with possible nettles / overhanging branches.

Please wear a helmet as the route goes through some bumpy terrain. We won't be stopping at a cafe anywhere on the route so bring a drink or snack if you need one. Please ensure you have lights on your bike as we will be going through some dark sections such as woodlands and under road bridges! You won't need a bike lock but please bring a spare inner tube in case you get a puncture.

Please arrive by 7:20am so we can run through bike checks and introductions - we need to leave on time at 7:30am so I have time to get ready for work when we get back ;-)
